Lapsi Faada is a grain made from wheat. It is made by grinding wheat with some special process in which it is grinded partly. Lapsi Faada is Sweet dish, the other type of lapsi is also known as ‘Kansar’. In Gujarat and many part of India, it is made during marriages or holy functions. Lapsi or ‘Fada Lapsi’ as it is called in Western India is also known as ‘Dalia'[Daliya]. It is essentially a porridge made of bulgar wheat and jaggery to mark auspicious ocassions in the Gujarati Community.
